This is generally about the Icelandic gelding, Sokki, whom I had the pleasure of knowing for about 9 years.
He was born in Iceland about 17 years ago. He's been in this country for 11 or 12 years.
I believe he was imported to the U.S. as a demonstration horse. He's, therefore, been all over the country with a lot of different people riding him.
He was a bit hard-mouthed when I bought him. I did a little training and He's wonderful, very responsive.
I'm a bit handicapped and he handled all wonderfully, always watching where I was at, so, as not to step on me! I also have Diabetes, and he never stressed me out, and, and from what I've seen, all Icelandics are like this!
